Cleaning...
It's a polarizing topic - but also makes for great small talk at parties ;)
Folks seem to either "love it or hate it" which I find fascinating!
Which of these two quotes resonates with you more ::
"Housework can't kill you, but why take the chance?" Phyllis Diller
- or -
"Cleaning is the silent art of making things come alive again."
I have always *appreciated* a clean room - but I am not what anyone would describe a "super organized" person.
I have always loved the feeling of sitting in a room after I cleaned it though. The clean room provided a sense of accomplishment and cleaning is a physical activity which I also appreciate - moving, stretching, scrubbing, moving, moving, moving...that is what I do love about it.

Have you found yourself cleaning more or less since Covid 19?
I believe it was the pandemic that *really* drove me into "the cleaning business". Cleaning my own house provided a sense of control. Cleaning provided a stark before (dirty room) and after (clean room!) sense of accomplishment that was enjoyed by not only me, but my family as well!
Today - my friend, Julie, and I enjoy doing one-off cleans for folks. It makes us happy to provide this small sense of peace and joy to others when we get to clean their homes.

In today's world - where we might feel like we have no control at all - it feels good to provide folks with one, small, gesture to help them enjoy their space(s).
So today - I encourage you to Treat yourself! Pick one small corner of your favorite space and start on top (dust the ceiling fan) and work your way down, surface by surface, to the floor.
You don't have to spend a ton of time on it! Just one small corner - and perhaps you'll feel the same sense of accomplishment that I do...or maybe you don't! In which case - you can give Julie and I a call next time ;)
