After graduation University of Minnesota — I spent a year in the forests and mountains of Seattle, Washington working with an environmental non-profit specializing in reforestation and restoration work. Trail building in the mountains was my favorite activity and being in nature felt like “home.” It still does.
I returned to Minneapolis to begin my 11 year stretch of working in and with non-profits throughout the Twin Cities. My favorite position during this time was creating and overseeing “The Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MarketPlace.” I had the honor of connecting with artisans around the world to purchase and import beautiful, handmade items at fair, sustainable wages — especially for women.
In 2017, after enjoying the selling process of our family’s home in St. Paul, I pursued my real estate license and have held it ever since. I enjoy helping friends and family find homes to call their own. I am so grateful to work with The Real Estate Collaborative.
Joining the St. Paul Area Association of Realtors’ Affordability Task Force, working with REC, and helping to create the first YIMBY (Yes in My Backyard) chapter in Minnesota are a few ways in which I hope to work towards sustainable, affordable and abundant housing for ALL in the Twin Cities and beyond!
WHY IS HOME IMPORTANT?
I believe housing is a basic human right. As a Realtor, I have seen many houses and many types of homes. I believe Housing is healthcare and I want to do my part to help others find a safe place to live and call Home.
